Our approach
YOUR TECH MADE EASY exists to help people who feel left behind by technology. That mission extends to this website itself. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and continuously improve accessibility.
What we do
Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element on this site — links, buttons, forms, and menus — can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. Focus indicators are clearly visible.
Semantic HTML. We use proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, form labels, and ARIA attributes so that screen readers can present the content structure accurately.
Text readability. Body text is set at a comfortable size (15–16px) with generous line height. Headings use a clear visual hierarchy. Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG AA minimums throughout.
Motion sensitivity. Animations on this site respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting. If you have reduced motion enabled in your system preferences, all transitions and scroll animations are disabled.
Responsive design. The site works on screens of all sizes — from phones to large desktops — without horizontal scrolling or overlapping content.
Alt text. All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked as such and hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
Our ebook guides are sold through third-party platforms (Amazon, Apple, Google). The accessibility of those reading experiences depends on each platform and device. Most modern ebook readers support adjustable text size, VoiceOver/TalkBack, and high-contrast modes.
