Questions and resources

What to say. What to set. What to practise.

Start small, and stay available.

What to say: make it possible to ask for help, including after a mistake. What to set: verify a guardrail on the account or service your family uses. What to practise: rehearse one useful action, such as checking a claim or ending a game.

You do not need to change everything tonight. Pick actions that fit your child, equipment and household. Decide what you will try, practise together, then review it. Add support when something is difficult; reduce only the permission that needs attention where practical.

The resource directory links to official guidance with check dates. Menus and service rules change, so verify them again when you use them. The short activities can be repeated without an account or personal information.

You can also visit Subscribe for occasional useful updates or Contact for a general question or future workshop enquiry. Neither is required to use these resources. Serious safeguarding concerns belong with the school’s designated safeguarding contact or an appropriate local professional service.

One question to take away

Put a date in your own calendar to review your three actions.
